Understanding Missing Items
If items you ordered don't arrive with your delivery, they were likely out of stock at the supplier warehouse. It's important to understand:
Missing items will not arrive at a later date
You will need to reorder these items in your next order
VendHub doesn't have real-time access to Vistar inventory levels
The catalog is updated weekly, not in real-time
Items shown as available in VendHub may sometimes be out of stock at Vistar
Requesting a Refund
If you've been charged for items that didn't arrive with your delivery, follow these steps to request a refund:
Email [email protected] with your refund request
Include your order number in the subject line of your email
Clearly list all missing items in your email
Our team will verify your order and process the refund
Refund Timeline and Requirements
Important: There are net 15 terms for all refund requests
You must report missing items immediately upon delivery
We cannot process refunds for missing items reported after 15 days
Refunds are typically processed at the end of each month
You will receive confirmation when your refund has been processed
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the order
Checking Stock Availability
For urgent items, consider contacting your OPCO directly to check current stock availability before placing your next order. This can help you determine if the items you need are currently in stock.
Preventing Missing Items
While stock issues can't always be avoided, here are some tips to minimize disruption:
Order well in advance of when you need items
Consider alternative products for frequently out-of-stock items
Maintain a buffer inventory of your essential products
Contact your OPCO to check availability of critical items before placing large orders
