How to log in, where VendScout lives, whether there's an app, and your first-day checklist.

Logging in

VendScout uses your existing VendHub login — there is no separate account to create and nothing to download. It is a fully mobile-responsive website, so it works in the browser on your phone, tablet, or computer.

  1. Go to vendhubhq.com and sign in with your VendHub credentials.

  2. Use the dropdown / module toggle at the top of the page to switch between VendHub (ordering, equipment, rebates) and VendScout (location scouting and outreach).

  3. You'll land on the VendScout Dashboard — your control center for credits, recent activity, and your pipeline.

"Looks technical, but anyone can do it"

A common reaction is that VendScout looks powerful and a little intimidating at first. The consistent message from the team: if you follow the steps, anyone can do it. Start simple and add features as you go.

The onboarding wizard

The first time you log in, VendScout walks you through a short setup — Welcome → Company → Brand → Website → Done. It takes a few minutes and configures everything the rest of the platform draws from (your logo, colors, and contact info).

Is there an app?

There is no separate iOS or Android app to install. VendScout is a mobile-responsive website designed for one-handed use in the field, with the main navigation at the bottom of the screen on mobile. Just open vendhubhq.com on your device and toggle to VendScout.

The Dashboard (home)

Your home screen brings the day into one view:

  • Key numbers — new leads, inquiries, and credit balance at a glance.

  • Pipeline funnel — how many leads sit at each stage.

  • Activity feed — the latest things that happened across your account.

  • Quick-action tiles — one click to Scan a Card, Scout Leads, Start a Contract, Build a Website, Create a Mockup, Create a Flyer, or Plan a Route.

  • Follow-ups due today, plus your onboarding checklist.

Your first-day checklist

  1. Set up your Brand Kit — business name, tagline, logo, colors, and contact info. This populates your website, flyers, contracts, and emails automatically, so do it first.

  2. Publish a website using one of the templates (you can start on a free subdomain in well under an hour).

  3. Run your first Scout search to browse candidate locations on the map (browsing is free).

  4. Add a few promising locations to your CRM and watch them enrich automatically.

  5. Generate a proposal, mockup, or contract for your top prospect — the single biggest time-saver in the platform.
