Scout is the heart of VendScout: an AI-powered, map-based search that finds candidate locations for your machines — a live map (like Google Maps) of real businesses you can turn into leads. You set your criteria and Scout plots matching businesses on the map.
How to use it
Pan or search to any neighborhood or city.
Filter by business type — apartments, gyms, offices, hotels, hospitals, schools, warehouses, and 15+ more — and set a minimum star rating.
Draw a custom search radius (anywhere from 1 to 50 miles). Browsing your search results is free.
Select the locations you want and import them in one click. Each location you add costs 1 credit and triggers automatic enrichment. Turn on auto-enrich on import so new leads immediately get emails and decision-makers attached.
If you navigate away, use Restore Last Search to bring your results back without spending credits again. Past Scout searches are saved and searchable.
Every imported lead arrives pre-filled with name, address, phone, website, star rating, and review count — so you start with real information, not a blank record.
What counts as a quality lead
Scout focuses on real, verifiable businesses — typically those with a Google Business listing, public records, a website and/or solid reviews, and a verified phone or email. Treat the data as a strong starting point for deciding who to call; your in-person pop-in is still where you validate foot traffic and fit.
